This Pharmacy First approach aims to streamline healthcare and make it more accessible. The Pharmacy First initiative provides quick access to essential healthcare services.

What conditions can we provide under Pharmacy First?


Acute Otitis Media

An infection of the middle ear that causes inflammation (redness and swelling) and a build-up of fluid behind the eardrum. Pharmacy First services can help manage this condition.

Must be aged 1-17 years old.


Impetigo

A highly contagious skin infection that often starts with sores or blisters on the face or hands and is more common in children. For quick treatment, consider the Pharmacy First programme.


Acute Sore Throat

A sore throat that is usually caused by a bacterial or viral infection. The Pharmacy First service can provide suitable treatment options.


Shingles

Shingles is a painful, usually itchy, rash that develops on one side of the face or body.


Acute Sinusitis

Acute sinusitis causes the spaces inside the nose, known as sinuses, to become inflamed and swollen.


Infected Insect Bites

Insect bites or stings are not usually serious and get better in a few days. But sometimes they can become infected or cause a serious allergic reaction.


Uncomplicated Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) in Women

A urinary tract infection include a sudden need to pee and pain or a burning sensation when peeing.
